After a few years of virtual international charrettes, the 2023 'Brookfield Smart Sustainability Charrette' was once again held in-person.
From February 23-27, 2023, Students from KEA - Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, Politecnico di Milano, Università Commerciale L. Bocconi, and University of Toronto joined the students of George Brown College to develop Smart Sustainable solutions. The teams tackled projects for industry clients such as the Short Food Supply Chain, Climate Positive Housing Development, Wooler Area Community Organization, The Linear City Project, The Silent Community, Sustainable Tourism Barbados, The Gathering Place - A Housing Collaborative, The Chef’s House Remodelling, and The Future of Work Project.
