Coming from South America as a child, Michelle explains how things took a turn for the worse and how she came into foster care, hungry and in need of shelter. Education funding through our Foundation enabled Michelle to pursue her passions for sign language and interpreting. The Children’s Aid Foundation is an independent charity that helps Canada’s most neglected and vulnerable kids reinvent their lives by giving them the support and skills they need.
